November 11, Sean O’Casey "I Knock at the Door" (autobiography)

December 9, Sean O’Casey "The Shadow of the Gunman" and "The Plough and the Stars”"

January :13, Brenda Maddox "Nora" (biography of Nora Barnacle Joyce)

February 10, Brendan Behan "Borstal Boy"

March 10, Kate O’Brien "The Land of Spice" (a novel set in the 1930’s in Limerick where the children are coming from a newly emerged upper middle class)

April 14, Roddy Doyle "A Star Called Henry"

May 12, Conor McPherson "This Lime Tree Bower", "The Good Thief" and "Rum and Vodka".(These are the three remaining plays in the reader currently in use. )
